Throw the tails away unless you didnt catch to many (happens some times ).Then use them Tails too. Hook the heads right through both eyes with a large J hook or circle hook. |

| Catch Your Own Night Crawlers Its Fun and easy to do. Wet your lawn with a hose if it has not rained for a while. Wet it just before dark. Give it a good soak and wait about one or two hours. Take a flashlight (one thats not to bright works best) shine slowly around in the grass and cleared areas you wet down. The night crawlers will be laying there and will slowly start to move back in their hole. Be quick and put your hand flat over him pinning it to the ground .Now grab a section of the crawler and ease off with your hand that you pinned him with. Now slowly pull the night Crawler out of his hole . Put it in a can or bucket Add some dirt to the jar . You Just Caught your first Night Crawler.
